OUT OF CONTROL
There are times when life takes
an unexpected turn – for the better of for the worse. Sometimes uncertainty
looms like a huge expecting cloud, ominous and dark. You feel that you are all
alone and are being dragged down into the whirlpool of desperation. People
deride you for your lack of strength and meekness of character. You don’t have
a place to call as your own; you suddenly miss the familiarity and keeps on
thrashing blindly for a handhold. You feel that all your talents has been drowned
down the drain in a single day, all that you thought and held were precious
vanishes into thin air. Heavy and harsh words pierce you like arrows. It hurts
more when this comes from the unexpected quarters. And you cannot express your
feelings as easy as you used to do. You have to face being called a quitter,
and are worried all along about being wilted down under the pressure. You are
not yourselves any more. The controls are handled by someone somewhere; you
have to walk through the line that they draw and keep on walking through till
they are satisfied. The sugar coated controls are designed to deceive you, they
will prompt you into thinking that you are in control, and all the time you are
out of it. It will be too late when you realize your mistake. You will get
bombarded by the control instructions so badly that you will think you are
under cluster bombardment in a world war scenario. This constant tug of war
goes on till the wire breaks and you are pulled free. You are free to do
whatever you like; you are free to act on your own without the fear of being
reprimanded, without the fear of being called a loafer. So when things turn
unexpected for the worse, always remember that the controls are held by strings
that can always break – and real soon if you keep at it. So keep pulling at the
control struts, break away, feel free, live your life without any bothers, fear
or regrets.
