JOSEPHS RULE

From the Bible, Joseph was Jacob’s ( Israel ’s) eleventh son, who was sold by his jealous brothers and was taken to Egypt as a slave. Through his ultimate devotion to his God, purity of thought and austere life style, he rose to be the second in command to the Pharaoh. Biblically, Joseph means “He will enlarge”. There is another meaning given, as being “taken away”. Whatever be the meaning and the validity of the biblical story of Joseph, his rise to stardom, and being the eventual saver of Israelites, this name was always associated with people who was able, and wanted to make a change. Starting from the Father of Jesus to the more contemporary times of this author, the name Joseph was associated with discoverers, politicians with will, and people with charisma.
